HEADS UP: Your in-progress runs on the web build *may* be reset whenever the game is updated in the future. Working on a solution to this in future updates.
For most people this won't matter too much, but if you want to keep a single long run going over multiple days, you're better off using the downloadable version.

This is now fixed as of the latest update!

can you make it so the game is able to Fullscreen on the browser edition

This game is absolutely amazing and I love it, but I have a couple notes.

The pacing could be more optimal - right now, you get a new thing after every level; it'd be better if you had more chances to familiarize yourself with one thing before getting another, let's say 2-4 levels in-between, with a varying amount of mines. I've played this game so many times it's not a problem anymore, but it was tough to figure out Cryomines at first, for example. Same for upgrades, when you replay, it's tough to remember what you have or don't have.

Dark mines could get an update to help with them, right now unless you get lucky, there's not much to do about them.

Endless mode would be great!! Esp. if you could also pick what mines/structures appear.

Otherwise I ABSOLUTELY ADORE everything about this, it's a better version of mine sweeper, all of the mines and structures are incredibly cool and creative. Sent and shown to all my friends who like Minesweeper lol.

Btw actually one more thing that I'm sure you're aware of; the music doesn't loop properly

One more thing, Disarm says "usable 3x per level", which I guess is true, but it doesn't recover as other updates, so this is either incorrectly coded or a misleading description

Thanks so much for all the feedback! Working on most of this now. Not sure exactly what you mean with this point about the disarm - it's supposed to have 3 fixed uses per level, but you can freely switch between using disarm and probes/scanner whenever.

Very happy to hear all that! Regarding Disarm, for whatever reason, I thought it does not reset at the beginning of a round, but it does, so everything is okay. :)

Have to try to new endless, super excited about that!

Ahh, I know what's the issue with Disarm now. The problem is it doesn't refresh properly - when I end with 1 Disarm on a level, then I get 2 on the next one, instead of the full 3. Which I assume is the intended behavior - so if you don't use them, they're essentially wasted for you for the next game. Or at least it seems to behave that way for me.

I also second the multiple flag types that were mentioned above; one for each type of mine would be great but might be an unnecessary overkill to cycle through them.

Ah, yeah it's supposed to reset *to* 3 uses each level, so you can never have more than 3 and any you don't use are wasted. Will think about how to make that clearer.

Current plan for flags is just to let you click a mine in the infocenter panel to change your flag icon to that mine, but I still have to actually implement that so we'll see how it ends up haha.

Please make endless mode

Incredibly fun, scratched a very specific itch in my brain. The difficulty curve is perfect and nothing seems unfair. The game seems to be consistently beatable without being too easy. Dark mines are a bit iffy, but they force good resource management which I like conceptually. They never ended a run for me so I don't hate them.

Only issue I saw is that if you hover over the ultimine in the top right on level 10, it tells you what it does before the "analysis." Other than that the game seems flawless.

Thanks for the detailed feedback, it's great to hear that it scratches that specific itch haha. I definitely wasn't expecting this to resonate so much with people, and it's a big motivation boost to make more.

Good catch on the ultimine description - was planning to change it, but now I've seen a couple playthroughs where that tooltip avoids a *lot* of frustration from people getting there for the first time. Might just leave it as a "hey if you're paying attention here's some bonus info" kind of thing.

Whew, that was fun! :D Nice game! Took me a couple days to beat it and I enjoyed the variety of upgrades and annoying structures/mines :3

Took me a bit but I got a no hit run, and man that was the most enjoyable minesweeper variant I've ever played!

Three points:

1. As mentioned below, endless mode please.

2. Is it possible to make it exclusive full screen without the title bar.

3. Why is this FREE?   It is too good to be free.


As a suggestion, could we have a mode that changes the primary colours.  The default is Turqoise I believe ( or a shade of Cyan ).  If we could maybe have red, green, yellow etc.

The only think I mention in the video is point 3, the rest is not.  This is only after continued playing once I did the video I thought of point 2 and the suggestion.

I love this game.

 - Color schemes are a *really* good suggestion, that would sadly be tough to implement with the current game setup. Will keep it on the to-do list for sure!

Really addicting game! Though I have to let you know that the download link doesn't seem to work. It just tells me the archive is corrupted!

Good catch, thanks for the heads up! I just reuploaded the same file and it seems to work now, so not sure what went wrong there lol. Let me know if it still doesn't work for you!

Just found this game yesterday through a random youtuber and decided to try. And wow, this game is insanely cool! I even managed to beat it no-hit without armor, stealth and salvage.
My strategy on the last bunch of levels was to use my radar and reveal immediately after the first click, and then (on the last 2) try to deduce the Ultimine placements.

Wow that's actually incredible, I didn't think that was even close to possible lol. Congrats!

Very cool, Minesweeper is the best. I liked the upgrades and the different types of mines/structures. Great to see someone else trying to improve the minesweeper formula (I love demoncrawl but it gets stale after a while.) Your game felt like a breath of fresh air.

Awesome idea! I think some pacing would be good, introduce new things every 5 levels or so and do increasing numbers of mines in between.

Thanks! The pacing is definitely very fast - I don't want people to have to slog through the boring parts of each run before things get exciting. Working on an endless mode now for players who want to keep going!

Very fun game, except the dark mines. Got to level 11 and removed 2 ultimines but used up my resources in the process, meaning that I ended up losing all my remaining probes to dark mines with no way to determine where they were.

but thats why its Tactic sweeper, you gotta know when you need to use your armor and your stealth. though I agree with the ultimine problem where you can't finish a level because ultimines stop you from clicking on empty spaces and you run out of resources hahaha jkjk i guess thats why its a roguelike

Still don't think just because it's a roguelike, you should be forced into a force-lose situation

Very fun! Would have played more if there was any, but it was a good length as it is.
